- Drink lots of water
- Cold water burns more calories as your body tries to warm itself
- Split meals into smaller portions - 4 100 cal meals are better than 1 400 cal meal
- Never eat alone - if you always eat in front of people, they can't accuse you of being anorexic. It is also a lot harder to binge in front of people, because they will judge you/comment, you can also compare yourself to them.
- Watch people it - it's disgusting and will put you off
- Never eat anything bigger than your fist, it will only stretch your stomach
- Set yourself rules, structure and routine make it a lot easier to keep track of what you eat, and make self control easier
- Let yourself binge every now and then (in moderation), your only human, and this will make you less likely to go on a big binge later. This will also speed up your metabolism (if you find you can't lose any weight no matter what you do, try eating normally for a day or two, then jump straight back into your diet). A good idea would be to go out for a family meal on these occasions, to decrease their suspicions
- Count calories prior to eating, this helps avoid nasty surprises
- Look at thinspo daily, and carry some around with you if possible for motivation
